IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT This lesson is designed only for confident drivers who already feel fully comfortable on local roads. If you are still struggling with stop signs, traffic lights, or basic navigation on city streets, this service is not the right fit. Highway driving requires a higher level of awareness and skill than local driving. Learn the skills you need to drive safely and confidently on New Jersey highways. In this 90-minute highway driving session, a certified Safe Roads Driving School instructor will guide you through essential skills, including: 1. Merging smoothly and safely onto highways 2. Executing lane changes and passing other vehicles with confidence 3. Maintaining proper speeds and safe following distances 4. Navigating exits, ramps, and multi-lane traffic 5. Strategies for handling busy roadways and traffic conditions REAL HIGHWAY PRACTICE Students will be picked up from their Jersey City address and driven to the nearest highway. A common training route is from Downtown Jersey City to the American Dream Mall. This path is ideal because it exposes students to local highways and freeways, giving them hands-on experience in real driving conditions. PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF Available from any address in Jersey City. Students outside Jersey City can meet their instructor at Journal Square PATH Station (3 Path Plaza, Jersey City, NJ) or, our office location (2800 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306). BOOKING POLICY A deposit is required to secure your lesson online or by phone.
